Through the Sacrament of Baptism, you are initiated into Christ’s Holy Church. We are incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit. All this is God’s gift, offered to us without price. As United Methodists, we believe in infant baptism as an outpouring of God’s grace and a commitment by the parents to raise this child in a life of faith. The church community also commits to supporting and nurturing this child as we all journey together. Click here to learn more about the United Methodist understanding of Baptism.
