Women’s Ministry

All women across the church are invited to connect and be in shared ministry with one another. These ministry initiatives welcome all women, anyone who identifies as a woman, or someone who connects with the ministry offerings.

Women’s Ministry at Myers Park UMC is ever-evolving and includes offerings such as our Annual Women’s Retreat, small groups, traditional United Methodist Women’s circles, and moms groups. Women’s Lent Small Group

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. & Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., room 108: All women are invited to join. Registration is not required, but you can RSVP here to help us prepare. Email Rev. Jessica Dayson at for details.

Small Groups

Young Professional Women’s Bible Study, Wednesdays, 7-8 p.m.: All women in their 20s and 30s are welcome. Join us beginning March 20 for a six-week study on John: The Gospel of Light and Life. For more information and the Zoom link to join, email Caitlin Stanley at or Alexandra Bailey at

Moms’ Night Out, first Mondays, 7:30 p.m.: Moms of all ages and stages are invited for a time of community, support, and good conversation. Email Rachel Heath at for location and to RSVP.

United Women of Faith

United Methodist Women (UMW) is a worldwide community of women, whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

UMW Circles

  • Hannah, 2nd Tuesday, 3:00 p.m.; room 106: A lighthearted group of women who meet for book study and cheerful fellowship. For details, email Barbara Hambacher at
  • Martha, 1st Wednesday, 10:30 am; room 108: A group of ladies, 60s and up, who care significantly about living generously, growing in fellowship, and deepening their faith. A presenter or guest teacher often leads their time together. For details, contact Darlene Beard at 704-375-1035 or
