Sacred Spaces at Home

Join us for our new series on Embracing Mystery. Now that worshipping at home is the new normal, we invite you to create a sacred space at home! This can be as simple or as elaborate as you desire. Here are some easy suggestions:

• Find a cross, big or small! • Light a candle • Have a bible ready to read along • Add some things that are meaningful to you or your family • Add an icon to contemplate – we have printable icons available • Use incense or essential oils to create a sensory experience with smell • Use fabric to create an altar space to reflect the season

God is with us, wherever we are. Use this as a prayer card as we grow together in embracing the mystery of God.

You’ll open one item each week (September 27-November 22) and add it to your sacred space. Come to our website each week to read about which new item you’ll open. On September 25, kits will be available for pickup under the portico and a description of the first week’s Sacred Spaces at Home Surprise Kit item will be posted on the Children’s Ministries websiteHere is a sneak peek at the first one.
