Operating Fund
Your support of Myers Park UMC’s annual church operating fund allows the day-to-day ministry and operations of our church to thrive. Worship on Sunday, chorale ensembles for all ages, Bible studies, faith formation and fellowship for youth and children, congregational care – all of these ministries and more are made possible through your generosity to our church’s operating fund. Your financial commitment enables MPUMC to serve as a resource for the Charlotte community and beyond, sharing the word of God with neighbors near and far.
Mission & Outreach
The Mission & Outreach Fund was created in 2007 to support local and world outreach as well as justice work, and to provide scholarships for students pursuing a call to ministry. It is a separate fund beyond our church’s operating fund; we find it important to reach beyond our walls to make a generational impact within the communities we engage and form life transforming relationships with. We joyfully celebrate that 100% of Mission & Outreach funds go out to advance God’s Kingdom.
Planned Giving
What will my legacy be? Myers Park United Methodist Church is eager to help provide an answer through planned giving. A planned gift in any form to our church goes to the Wesley Foundation, which focuses on preserving the beauty of our campus while supporting significant outreach. Those who make a planned gift to our church become part of the Wesley Circle and help ensure God is glorified not just now but for generations to come.
Wesley Foundation
Our church’s Wesley Foundation was established in 2010. The foundation includes our endowment which is primarily funded through planned gifts to our church. All gifts to our foundation will be endowed in perpetuity.
Investment proceeds focus on preserving the beauty of our church campus through capital improvements and support significant outreach for our local and global mission partners through our Wesley Grant program.

Love offering contributions can be made online. On the giving form, select Special Gifts as the Fund, and enter the recipient’s name in the Memo line. Or write a check with Love Offering for [Name] in the memo line and mail it to the church at 1501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207.
