Joining Myers Park

We want everyone to be involved in the life of Myers Park United Methodist Church, member or guest! If, however, you have thought about making a commitment to our church family, we would love for you to explore becoming a member of our congregation.

Discover Myers Park

Our church hosts a newcomer orientation session called Discover Myers Park formerly meeting periodically at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday morning. We now make this class available online through Zoom. During this session members and staff will welcome you to our congregation and answer your questions about our church. They will provide a snapshot of our United Methodist beliefs, practices, and ways to get involved. There is no obligation to join, but that opportunity will be available to you.

  2. Attend a follow up class.
  3. Attend on a Joining Sunday.
