As part of our School Partnerships Ministry, Myers Park United Methodist Church has long partnered with Sedgefield Elementary School. For many f amilies of students there, making ends meet is a challenge and basic necessities are sometimes out of reach. Help bolster these students’ success by providing basic learning materials for the classroom. Your support will contribute to a 5th grader’s year-end goal of a class trip to Washington, DC. For many students, this is their first chance to travel outside of Charlotte and an opportunity to experience a life-changing educational adventure.
Your gift will tell a story to these children that they live in a community that supports three school, and that they have neighbors who will walk with them to achieve their goals of educational success.
