Pass the Peace Meal: $15
Pass the Peace is a progr am designed to increase dialogue between groups that might historically view the other suspiciously. Committing to 4 to 6 gatherings, a combination of youth, adults and police, each of differing ethnic groups, will share meals, experiences and perspectives. Pre-determined questions help drive each conversation as group members learn what it’s like to walk in another’s shoes.
We have already held 48 meals and are currently hosting our third rotation. The intent is to spread Pass the Peace throughout the city of Charlotte, increasing dialogue and expanding our sense of community.
