The Men’s Shelter of Charlotte provides safe emergency shelter while working to end homelessness. The rising cost of living, along with low wages and a lack of affordable housing in Mecklenburg County contribute to a steady increase in homelessness in Charlotte. The Men’s Shelter works to serve each individual who walks through its doors while addressing the systemic changes that will help reduce homelessness and lead to housing for all. The shelter provides intensive casework to help each resident find a path toward obtaining income and/or benefits.
