At Christmastime, when my daughter was young, she would ask almost every day if she could open just one present. I decided one year to wrap 24 Christmas books and put them in a basket. Beginning on the first Sunday in Advent, she could choose one of the books to unwrap and that would be our bedtime storybook. It was something to look forward to each day. She had fun unwrapping the book, and it was exciting to see what the story would be for that night. I always saved The Christmas Story for Christmas Eve by wrapping it in special sparkly paper. She knew she had to wait until Christmas Eve to open that one. You probably have special books your f amily reads each year. If you want to expand your collection, here is a list of suggestions based on age. May you enjoy special moments and traditions with your little ones this Christmas season. ~ amy Harriman
