Thomas from the United Methodist Foundation of Western North Carolina tells us about gift planning and its importance to the future of our church. Discover how gifts funded in this life can provide you, as a donor, with benefits such as tax breaks, lifetime income, and the ability to preserve assets for heirs. All while also making a generational impact on the ministries you cherish. Topics include: Wills and bequests Gifts of appreciated assets Retirement plans and life insurance Supplementing your current income with an additional life income. Click the button below to RSVP.

This annual program of spooky organ music and popular songs is fun for the whole family. Evan Wesley Currie, organist, and our children's and youth ensembles perform along with a surprise cast of characters. Put on your costume and join us!

As we gear up for Room in the Inn season, we need help restocking supplies for our ministry and items for our unhoused neighbors. Please purchase items from this Amazon Wishlist only as we have specific needs and do not want products to go to waste.

We often ask, “How is it with your soul?” yet fail to ask, “How is it with your grief?” The holidays can spotlight our relationship with grief in unexpected ways. This four-week small group gives space to tend to grief in hope that you face the holiday season with more intention, awareness, and peace. As there is no timeline on grief, everyone is welcome to attend no matter their season of grief or loss. Facilitated by Parish Nurse Lauren Smith and Rev. Nancy Dixon Walton. Please register by October 29. Contact Julie Williams at jwilliams@mpumc.org or 704-295-4815 to sign up. Note: There are two group options - one on Sunday and one on Monday.
