Wonderfully Made is a one-day seminar and workshop designed for fifth graders and their parents to help them explore “growing up.” As the author of one of the resources we use states, “God has had in mind a path by which you would move from childhood to adulthood. You’ve been walking that path since you were born, but now it’s time for your leisurely stroll to shift into a jog (maybe even a full-blown run?).”
Sessions will include biological information, communication, and affirmation of God’s good creation. Parents and fifth graders will work together and separately as they explore this thing called adolescence! The event is led by an experienced te am of adults.
The trend over the past few years has been for dads to come with sons and moms to attend with daughters. We really encourage both parents to come, if possible. Dads need to know what is going on with daughters, and moms need to be aware of what is happening with their sons. Please try to work this out. It won’t be nearly as embarrassing as you think!
Also, please note that you are expected to attend the entire session. If you need to arrive late or leave early, please do not register. As you will discover during the event, it is important to be here from beginning to end.
