Staycation Bible School

06/22/2020 - 06/25/2020 All Day

UPDATE: Due to COVID-19-related restrictions on large gatherings, we will not hold Vacation Bible School on site this year. We are currently making plans for Staycation Bible School, a stay-at-home friendly experience.

Knights of North Castle is June 22-25 from 9:30 am to 1:00 p.m.. For 4-year-olds-5th graders.

Children must have been born on or before May 31, 2016 to attend. Note: Children younger than 4 may attend if their parent volunteers on site the week of VBS. When registering your child, please select the grade/class your child is in right now. For ex ample, if your child is in first grade now, he or she is still considered a first grader this summer.

Register online beginning February 3. Registration closes on April 30 or when we reach maximum capacity, which is determined by the number of volunteers we have in place. Vacation Bible School is run almost entirely by volunteers. Therefore, the number of children we can enroll in VBS is determined by the number of volunteers we have. If you register after we have reached our capacity, your child will be placed on a wait list.

If you want to volunteer, complete the volunteer information when registering or email Jennifer Ross, VBS Planning Te am Leader, at kanejenn@aol.com. No matter your availability, there is an opportunity for you!

Curriculum

Fourth and fifth graders spend the most of the week off c ampus, traveling to local nonprofit agencies where they are involved in special hands-on service activities designed to teach them the Bible stories through real-world experiences. Their day also includes prayer and devotion time. On Thursday, they will enjoy a pizza party in recognition of their hard work during the week. Note: Due to transportation and nonprofit facility limitations, space is limited to 36 4th and 5th graders.

4-year-olds-Third Graders enjoy learning the Bible story of the day, participating in service projects, and traveling to workshops such as Art, Discovery, Scavenger Hunt and more. They gather each day in Jubilee Hall for worship and music.

Infants-3-year-olds (Child Care) are eligible for child care if his or her parent volunteers on site during the week of VBS. Infants and toddlers receive quality child care. Two- and three-year-olds enjoy the Bible story of the day, songs and outside play every day. They gather each day in Jubilee Hall for worship and music.
