This first overnight at MPUMC is a long-standing tradition to celebrate Bible Sunday. We stay at the Valle Crucis Conference Center and enjoy fellowship and fresh air as we get to know each other and our Bibles.

We leave at 11:15 on Saturday, September 15 and return on Sunday, September 16 at 3:00. The cost is $95. Eight parents travel as chaperones to provide ample supervision during our retreat. The boys and girls each have their own sleeping quarters and linens are provided – no sleeping bags required. We bring some healthy snacks with us, but meals are included, plentiful, and delicious (and nut-free). We spend time together playing g ames outside, doing crafts, hiking easy trails, participating in te am building activities, worshipping, and we even have Sunday School on Saturday night. Of course, no overnight would be complete without c ampfire, s’mores, and songs!
