Moving from Children’s Ministries to Youth Ministries is a big deal and is one that our entire church f amily wants to experience with you.  On Sunday, August 20, we will celebrate transitions – especially the transition from children to youth.

Please plan to come to worship as a f amily to Church in the Round at 8:45 am.  Our rising sixth graders will sit together and be recognized by their church f amily as they move to the Youth Building for the first time.  Melanie Dobson, our Minister of Faith Formation, will preach and both Lauren Stines, our Youth Director, and Sarah Sumner, our Children’s Director, will be involved in the service as we bless you and send you forward.

Following the service there the 6th graders will come to the Youth Bldg. for a Welcome party with a Bojangles Breakfast Bar, Youth Bldg. Scavenger Hunt and g ames. Parents will go to Francis Chapel, with Lauren Stines, for a time to learn more about the youth progr am.
