The congregation’s conversation on race continues at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, in Jubilee Hall: A panel that includes Charlotte integration pioneer Dorothy Counts-Scoggins, School Board member Eric Davis and community activist Sandra Conway will discuss Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, racial equity and the role the faith community should play in the debate. The Black History Month progr am comes as CMS considers the next student assignment policy in the context of school resegregation.
