Parenting Through the Phases – Kindergarten and 1st Grade

09/22/2019 All Day

Join us on the fourth Sunday of the month at 10 am in Jubilee Hall for Parenting Through the Phases. Each month will focus on a different phase and a panel of experts (educators, experienced parents, medical field, etc.) will be on hand to offer tips and questions. On Sunday, September 22, we will address the Kindergarten/1st Grade phase.

This is the phase when unfiltered words make you laugh, school drop-off makes you cry, and life becomes a stage where your child shouts, “Look at me!” If you often feel like the school day is too long for your child, and maybe a little too short for you, you might be in one of the best phases of your child’s life.

Join us for coffee and conversation while we explore:

  • What’s changing about your child over the next year
  • The 6 things your Kindergartner needs most
  • Four conversations to have in this phase
  • And it’s a great opportunity to meet other Kindergarten and 1st Grade f amilies. Feel free to bring along a friend or two!

*Coffee will be provided.
