As part of our mental health focus, a workshop at 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 15, in Jubilee Hall will look at ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and their impact on our physical and emotional well-being later in life. Rev. Bill Roth shares: “Participants will discover how our stories become our biology as our brains are shaped by the events of life. Meredith is an ordained deacon in The United Methodist Church and currently serves as Director of Progr am Excellence at Crossnore School & amp; Children’s Home. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and provides outpatient therapy to clients at Crossnore. She is also a trauma-informed trainer, providing internal training at Crossnore and external
training in churches and organizations interested in building trauma-informed communities. She is married to Duncan and the couple has twin daughters.
