The week of October 2-6, Habitat for Humanity will welcome hundreds of volunteers, staff, and community members, along with country music superstars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, to don their hard hats for the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project. Over five days, volunteers will build 20 homes at The Meadows at Plato Price, a neighborhood in which Myers Park UMC is already heavily invested. This is your opportunity to join in! We have 30 spots at the job site through the week, and we need to know BY JUNE 28 who wants to wield a hammer or paint some walls. We cannot guarantee a spot to everyone so if we have more than 30 interested volunteers, we will draw names from a hat! Click here to sign up.
