Myers Park United Methodist Church | 02/27/2017 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
On Monday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m., Dr. Christena Cleveland, professor of the Practice of Reconciliation at Duke Divinity School and author of Disunity in Christ: Uncovering the Hidden Forces that Keep us Apart, will share her dual perspective as a sociologist and theologian on why we suffer divisions in the church on issues like race, homosexuality, and politics, and how we might understand, love and come together as one Body.
This progr am is part of the Reconciliation with God and Others series designed to deepen the churchwide conversation sparked by these days of unrest, and a yearning to do something about it.
