Join our Chancel Choir, Myers Park Bells, and full orchestra in this musical offering for reconciliation.  Written by Karl Jenkins in 1999, The Armed Man is based on the Catholic mass and incorporates text from other historical and religious sources including the Bible, the Isl amic call to prayer, and the writings of Rudyard Kipling and Alfred Lord Tennyson. The mass chronicles the brutality and tragedy of war, but ends hopeful for peace.
