HANDBELLS
Myers Park Bells, the premier handbell ensemble at our church, rings regularly in worship and is challenged to make music at the highest level. Prior handbell and music reading experience are required. The group participates in weekend retreats, mission trips and festivals. Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 6:30-8 p.m.
Bellissimo: This intermediate handbell group focuses on building skills and rings once each semester in worship. Participation in local retreats, mission trips, and festivals is optional. Rehearsals: Sundays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Southern Bells: This non-performing handbell group for women exercises the heart and mind and focuses on skill-building and fellowship. Ringers are introduced to healthy ringing exercises, a variety of handbell techniques, and basic music reading skills. Rehearsals: Mondays at 10 a.m.
Tinkerbells – Handbells for K-2nd Graders
Tinkerbells meets every Wednesday from 5 to 5:45 p.m. In this class we work on reading music and rhythm while building the foundation for good ringing musicianship. Register Here

Junior Bells – Handbells for 3rd-5th Graders
Junior Bells meets every Wednesday from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Children continue to develop music reading and performance skills as well as learn how to be good worship leaders and ambassadors to our community. Participants are introduced to advanced bell techniques and encouraged to problem-solve many different bell challenges. This choir rings in worship once per semester and for elementary worship. Youth Bells meets every Sunday from 4 to- 5:15 p.m. This intermediate handbell choir extends the tradition of Junior Bells to more advanced and challenging repertoire. In addition to worship leadership, youth participate in weekend and summer ministry tours to take the love of Christ to others. Register Here
