South Louisiana Flood Relief

Please continue to pray with and for our siblings in Louisiana as they recover from Hurricane Ida. We will work directly with First UMC Hammond Louisiana for on the ground responses. Haywood County Disaster Relief

Please continue to remember our brothers and sisters in the North Carolina mountains as they recover from devastating flooding and winds brought by Tropical Storm Fred. Lake Junaluska is now home to disaster response emergency crews as they prepare for rescue and relief missions across Haywood County.

Afghanistan Refugee Relief

We are joining community partner Catholic Charities in welcoming Afghan families en route to Charlotte. Your support can ease a difficult transition and provide basic needs as they settle in their new homes. The following items can be dropped off at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday–Thursday. grocery cards for Food Lion or Walmart, gift cards to either Walmart or Amazon, laptops or Amazon tablets, new tea sets, new cookware sets, new children’s toys or bicycles, and shoes.Or, donate online by clicking here and selecting Refugee Ministry from the drop-down menu.
