Centering prayer, traditionally called contemplative prayer, is a method of prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of God’s presence. Centering prayer facilitates the movement from more active prayer (verbal, mental or affective prayer) into a receptive prayer of resting in God.

There is an ongoing session of centering prayer on Mondays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in room 024. You are invited to attend to learn the practice of centering prayer and experience it in a lay-led small group setting. Email Linda Myers at lindadon56@yahoo.com for more information.
